    How Orchard Park got here

    1. 1810

      Settlers arrive where two old roads meet, and the town takes Thomas Talbot's name.

    2. 1881

      St. Thomas becomes a city, riding a boom from the railways.

    3. 2016 to 2021

      The city's population climbs 10.1%, and new streets spread to the edges.

    4. 2010s onward

      Hayhoe Homes builds Orchard Park South, then launches Orchard Park Meadows.

    5. 2025

      Foundation work begins on the PowerCo battery plant, with production expected in 2027.
