Questions about downsizing
When the house costs more in time, money or stairs than it gives back. There is no perfect market moment. The right decision depends on your finances, your plans and the home you are moving to, and we'll give you an honest read on both.
Most downsizers sell first so they know their number, then buy with a firm budget. If you've found the right place already, a longer closing or a conditional offer can bridge the gap. We plan the order with you.
Usually a few things, not a renovation. We point out what's worth doing, like paint, trim or small repairs, and can coordinate trusted contractors so you aren't managing trades.
We help you plan it. We own a dump trailer that clients can sometimes use for clear outs, subject to availability and terms, and we can point you to people who help with sorting and moving.
